Learning for the 21st Century

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math - otherwise known as STEM - is an integrated field of study. STEM subjects often work together in methods called problem-based learning or project-based learning.

STEM in growing in importance and relevance for today and tomorrow's jobs. It also helps students understand our evolving culture and society. It is appropriate in elementary, middle and high schools.

In STEM education students learn to become problem solvers, creators, and collaborators. They learn to innovate. They will fill a critical need for tomorrow's knowledge workers and help protect the economic health of the nation.
